After defeating Shinnock, Rayden’s plans to free the Earth Kingdom from the forces of evil were not destined to come true. A mysterious woman named Kronika, capable of controlling the passage of time, intends to return to the past to change the course of events.
Gameplay has undergone a number of changes by integrating new combat mechanics. For example, Fatal Blow – the analogue of X-Ray from the previous parts, which can now be used only once per match and only after the health drops below 30 percent.
In addition, during the battle the character will accumulate two energies at once – one for defensive techniques, the second for attacks. Also one of the significant innovations is the ability to customize the appearance of the character.
