Large-scale Portal Reloaded modification is scolded only for “lean” story
On April 19, the fan modification Portal Reloaded was released on Steam. This is the work of a lone developer Yannis Brinkmann, who timed the release of his project to coincide with the 10th anniversary of the game. Portal Reloaded features 25 hand-created challenges, as well as a new story and even mechanics tied to a third portal. It allows you to travel through time.
The mod is available for free on Steam, players only need to purchase Portal 2 in their game library. Given that so many people have got it in a decade, it is logical that Portal Reloaded has gathered a fair amount of feedback two days after its release. In short: they are very positive. The developer praises the mechanics of the third portal, jokes and puzzles. But the storyline is a bit of a bummer.
